Joi Siler King is a civil litigator in Drew Eckl & Farnham’s Atlanta office who focuses her practice on commercial disputes and employment matters. Joi has established a reputation, both within the firm and among her peers, for being a tenacious and zealous advocate by doing what’s right, not what’s easy. Joi prides herself on being thorough and enjoys working with clients to find innovative solutions to their problems.
Joi earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she fostered her skills for leadership and oral advocacy. Joi was a pupil of the Henry Joseph Lumpkin Inn of Court and served as the Treasurer of the Davenport-Benham Black Law Student Association as well as on the Executive Board of Dean’s Ambassadors. During her time in law school, Joi received the award for Outstanding Moot Court Advocate for her participation on the American Bar Association and Emory Civil Rights and Liberties Moot Court teams. Joi also served as the Managing Editor of the 28th Volume of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law, where she focused her research on copyright issues arising from social media and “meme culture.”
In 2024, Joi was selected by her peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch© in the field of Labor and Employment Law – Management in Atlanta.
In her spare time, Joi spends time volunteering with youth in foster care through the Junior League of Atlanta and coaching UGA Law’s American Bar Association’s Moot Court Team. Joi is also the head coach of her local high school’s volleyball team. Joi and her husband, Frederick, are currently remodeling their home in Grant Park with their dog, Theo.
