Jack Reale has been practicing law for 45 years and focuses his trial practice on General Liability and represents corporations, insurance companies, and sports venues and arenas. He handles premises liability and general tort cases.
For nearly 25 years he has been the Administrator of the Georgia Self-Insurers Guaranty Trust Fund. Throughout this period, he has worked closely with the legislature and the State Board of Workers’ Compensation in drafting legislation regarding self-insurance in Georgia. Jack and his staff have resolved more than 400 claims and provided for nearly $50 million in benefits to injured workers, families and their dependents.
During his career, Jack has represented hundreds of professional football players in the negotiation and drafting of playing contracts and commercial endorsements as well as estate planning, tax preparation, and general legal services. He has represented first round draft picks, and a number of NCAA National Football Coaches of the Year, as well as an NFL Coach of the Year. Jack is the Workers’ Compensation panel attorney for the NFL Players Association for Georgia and has the distinction of being the first licensed sports agent in Georgia.
Jack is designated a Martindale-Hubbell AV peer review attorney, the highest rating available for legal ability and professional ethics. Since 2018, he was selected by his peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America© in the field of Workers’ Compensation Law – Employers since 2018 and Insurance Law since 2024 in Atlanta.
