Jeff Bazinet is Of Counsel in Drew Eckl & Farnham’s Atlanta office, where his practice focuses on general liability defense, medical malpractice defense, and insurance coverage matters. He represents a wide range of healthcare providers, businesses, insurers, and institutions in complex litigation throughout Georgia.
Jeff brings more than two decades of litigation experience to his practice. Since beginning his legal career in 2002, he has built a broad defense practice representing clients in complex civil litigation and high-exposure claims. His extensive courtroom background allows him to develop practical strategies tailored to his clients’ goals.
Jeff has more than 20 years of experience in medical malpractice defense and has tried more than 50 medical malpractice cases to jury verdict. His practice includes the defense of physicians, mid-level practitioners, nurses, hospitals, nursing homes and long-term care facilities, dentists, and podiatrists. In addition to his medical malpractice work, he handles general liability and insurance coverage matters and has developed particular experience in the defense of consumer protection cases brought by the Federal Trade Commission.
A self-described defense attorney “through-and-through,” Jeff earned his B.A. in History from the University of Florida and his J.D., cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law. Outside of work, he is actively involved in competitive youth soccer and enjoys spending time with the sport.
