Hunter Garrett has represented employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims throughout Georgia since January 2021. Hunter has taken and defended over 100 depositions, successfully negotiated over 100 claims to cost-effective resolutions, and has argued appeals at the Appellate Division of the State Board of Workers’ Compensation and the Superior Court.
Hunter received his J.D. from Georgia State University in 2020, and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Georgia in 2016. While in law school, Hunter was a summer associate at Drew Eckl & Farnham in 2019 and joined the firm as a full-time associate following the bar exam in October 2020. In 2023, he was selected by his peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch© in the field of Workers’ Compensation Law – Employers in Atlanta.
