Hayley Wilson is a Senior Associate in DEF’s Atlanta office, where she focuses on insurance defense litigation with an emphasis on premises liability, personal injury defense, and coverage matters. Her work also includes wrongful death and catastrophic injury claims, along with trucking and transportation litigation.
Hayley represents national retailers, hospitality groups, transportation companies, and their insurers. She advises clients through significant exposure cases in both state and federal courts, coordinating strategic claims management with insurance carriers and helping businesses implement effective litigation risk mitigation strategies. She also has extensive experience managing layered insurance coverage disputes, coordinating multi-party discovery, and crafting dispositive motion strategies in high-stakes litigation.
Before joining DEF, Hayley practiced civil defense litigation in Atlanta, representing insurers and businesses in personal injury and premises liability matters, as well as Title IX investigations. She earned her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she served on the Moot Court Team, and her B.S. in Special Education, cum laude, from the University of West Georgia.
Outside of work, Hayley enjoys running, cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs, and spending time with her two Labradors, Tinley and Theo. She’s also performed the National Anthem at both Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves games, showcasing the same confidence and poise she brings to her legal practice.
