Eve Jung is an Associate Attorney in Drew Eckl & Farnham’s Workers’ Compensation practice, where she represents employers and insurance carriers in all phases of workers’ compensation litigation. She assists clients from the initial stages of a claim through hearings, mediations, settlements, and case resolution, providing thoughtful legal analysis and practical guidance tailored to each client’s business objectives.
Eve’s interest in labor and employment law began before law school while working as a paralegal at an immigration law firm, where she assisted Korean companies with employment-based immigration and compliance matters. She later strengthened her experience through legal internships and externships with Blue Cross NC, UNC Health, and the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, supporting in-house counsel on a variety of employment law issues, including EEOC-related matters. These experiences solidified her commitment to helping employers navigate complex workplace and legal challenges.
While attending the University of North Carolina School of Law, Eve served as a student attorney in the Military and Veterans Law Clinic. In one notable matter, she helped develop a legal argument under a newly enacted federal regulation, 38 C.F.R. § 3.12(e), on behalf of a veteran seeking a discharge upgrade. The effort resulted in a significant victory that secured retroactive benefits and ongoing healthcare coverage for the client.
Eve earned both a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science from Yonsei University and her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. She is licensed to practice in Georgia and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. During law school, she received a merit-based scholarship and was honored with the UNC Law Pro Bono Publico Award in recognition of her service and commitment to the community.
Fluent in Korean, Eve is passionate about serving Georgia’s growing Korean business community and helping employers address legal challenges with practical, strategic solutions. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys traveling with her family, spending time with her dog, and taking on home renovation projects.
