Caleb Kot is an associate based in our St. Simons Island office who focuses on defending insurance claims and helping businesses navigate complex litigation. Caleb regularly works with insurance companies and self-insured businesses, helping them respond to claims, manage risk, and resolve disputes as efficiently as possible. Having experience on both sides of insurance litigation, he understands how cases are evaluated and works strategically to position his clients for the best outcomes.
Before joining the firm, Caleb gained hands-on legal experience as a law clerk with the Macon-Bibb County District Attorney’s Office, building a strong foundation in case preparation and courtroom procedures. Caleb earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia Southwestern State University and his law degree from Mercer University, graduating cum laude from both. He is admitted to practice in Georgia, including Georgia State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
Outside the office, Caleb enjoys spending time with his wife and young son and being outdoors. He takes pride in being responsive, practical, and easy to work with—qualities his clients value when facing litigation.
