Aarati focuses her practice in Workers’ Compensation litigation at Drew, Eckl & Farnham, LLP, representing insurers and self-insurers before the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation and state courts throughout Georgia.
She also serves a registered neutral and mediator, serving the needs of civil litigants throughout Georgia.
Prior to her work at Drew, Eckl & Farnham, Aarati served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Neal W. Dickert and the Hon. James G. Blanchard in the Augusta Judicial Circuit.
While in law school, Aarati received the “Best Oralist” award in the Appellate Brief and Oral Argument competition.
Aarati has published several articles in the Drew, Eckl & Farnham, LLP monthly newsletter, and she has been a panel speaker at the Advanced Workers’ Compensation Law Institute in 2011 and in 2015. Further, she has presented at numerous client-education seminars.
She was named to the 2013 Inaugural Hot List for Lawyers of Color, and she holds a 5-star AV Pre-Eminent Peer Review rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Beginning in 2021, Aarati co-hosts the Mother Board podcast, a show that explore various professional topics through the lens of lawyers who are mothers.
In 2023, she was selected to serve on the Board of Trustees of Springmont, Atlanta’s First Montessori School.
