Governor Brian Kemp has officially proclaimed October 12-16, 2026, as Kids’ Chance Awareness Week in Georgia, recognizing the vital work of an organization dedicated to supporting children whose families have been impacted by serious workplace injuries and fatalities.
This week highlights the heart of the Kids’ Chance mission: providing educational scholarships to the children of workers who have been seriously, catastrophically, or fatally injured on the job. When a workplace tragedy affects a family, educational opportunities can become uncertain. Through scholarships and ongoing support, Kids’ Chance helps students pursue their academic goals and build brighter futures.
Since its founding in 1988, Kids’ Chance has grown into a nationwide network serving families across all 50 states. The organization’s commitment has helped countless students overcome challenges and continue their education despite difficult circumstances.
At Drew, Eckl & Farnham, we have long been proud supporters of Kids’ Chance and its meaningful mission. Through sponsorships, community involvement, and ongoing support, our firm is honored to help advance opportunities for children and families affected by workplace injuries. We deeply appreciate the organization’s dedication to making a lasting difference in the lives of students across Georgia and throughout the country.
As Georgia observes Kids’ Chance Awareness Week, we join in celebrating the impact of this remarkable organization and the educational opportunities it provides for deserving students and their families.
