This summer, Drew Eckl & Farnham was joined by Ajay Nathan as a summer intern through the Atlanta Bar Association’s Summer Law Internship Program (SLIP) for High School students. We are honored to have had such a bright and talented student work with us and learn more about the legal industry.
The Atlanta Bar Association Summer Law Internship Program (SLIP) offers summer opportunities to Atlanta area high school students who are interested in learning more about the legal profession. Founded in 1993, SLIP was designed to achieve three goals: (1) to provide valuable work experience; (2) to further students’ understanding of the law; and (3) to promote mentor relationships with the Atlanta legal community.
Regarding his interest in the legal industry, Ajay said, “I’m interested in the legal industry because, in nearly all senses, law dictates the ways in which we live our lives. It is all-encompassing but is not necessarily straightforward – there are so many aspects to consider when dealing with any case, and an attorney’s job is to maneuver that complex process and produce a desirable outcome.”
