Drew Eckl & Farnham is pleased to announce the creation of two new C-Suite leadership positions and the appointment of Christy Walsh as the new Chief Operating Officer and Jason Landers as the new Chief Information Officer.
The new roles and appointments, which are effective Jan. 1, 2021, are part of Drew Eckl & Farnham’s ongoing effort to build a dynamic leadership team that will enhance service to the firm’s clients, improve recruiting and retention of talent, and implement strategies to ensure the firm’s continued growth.
“Starting January 1, these positions will work collaboratively with Chief Financial Officer Tim Brooks and our Board of Directors to create and implement strategies that will result in measurable benefits for the firm,” said Joseph Chancey, managing partner of Drew Eckl & Farnham. “They are all trusted leaders who consistently deliver results, and I have tremendous confidence in their abilities to continue leading our firm.”
Walsh, who is the firm’s current director of marketing, will be responsible as Chief Operating Officer for analyzing the core business functions for the firm and aligning Drew Eckl & Farnham’s people and processes with the firm’s strategy. This includes overseeing the firm’s growth, elevating the internal culture of the firm, and reviewing existing processes to identify areas for improvement.
Landers, the firm’s current director of information technology, will be responsible as Chief Information Officer for creating a secure, compliant and innovative environment for Drew Eckl & Farnham’s technology, information management, and business processes.
Landers and Walsh will work closely with Brooks, who as CFO will continue to advise on long-term financial planning for the firm, lead the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and provide analysis of day-to-day financial operations.
