The Drew Eckl & Farnham Corporate and Transactional Group assisted our long-time clients, Westminster Presbyterian Homes, Inc. and Presbyterian Homes of Georgia, Inc., in the closing of a $127 million industrial development authority revenue bond finance transaction, involving Oconee County, Synovus Bank, SunTrust Bank, BB&T Capital Markets and the USDA. We served as the Borrower’s counsel representing Westminster and Presbyterian Homes in securing funding for a $168 million retirement village green field project. The village will be developed over 2 years on 70 acres just outside of Athens, Georgia, and include 186 independent living units, 30 assisted living units, 30 memory support assisted living units, 40 skilled nursing beds, related healthcare center and common areas.
