Roberto Bazzani practices with the commercial litigation and corporate transactional group at DEF. As a Venezuelan native, fluent in Spanish and Italian, Roberto has focused his practice in assisting Hispanic-owned businesses of all sizes acting as outside general counsel for their employment and contractual needs, while also serving as litigation counsel in an array of matters from collections to contract disputes.
Prior to joining DEF, Roberto spent two years clerking for a federal bankruptcy judge in the Northern District of Georgia. After his term was over, Roberto joined a boutique bankruptcy firm in Atlanta, and then also practiced at a boutique commercial litigation and transactional firm in Sandy Springs. Roberto’s extensive bankruptcy experience gives him a unique viewpoint in advising clients on how to protect themselves and making confident decisions for their businesses.
While understanding that, for many, an attorney is their last line of defense, Roberto uses his analytical, approachable, and attentive nature to put his clients at ease and help them work towards a solution. Since 2024, he was selected by his peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch© in the field of Commercial Litigation and Corporate Law in Atlanta.
