Rebecca Schmidt joined the firm as Of Counsel with a litigation career spanning thirty years and principally devoted to property and casualty insurance defense litigation. Rebecca has an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale Hubbell for her high ethical standards and professionalism. She has extensive experience representing insureds, self-insureds, and insurance companies in a diverse spectrum of complex litigation matters encompassing automobile and trucking, construction defects, toxic torts (with an emphasis on mold), premises liability, negligent security, coverage disputes, and insurer bad faith.
Prior to joining the firm, Rebecca managed her own firm representing a statewide construction entity specializing in construction defect and related mold claims and was associated with a Gwinnett County firm engaged primarily in representation of local governments and specializing in municipal liability.
