Nada Paisant is Of Counsel in the Atlanta office of Drew Eckl & Farnham. Her practice focuses on insurance defense litigation with an emphasis on premises liability, negligent security, and commercial trucking matters.
Nada brings extensive courtroom and litigation experience from her years of public service as a prosecutor. She began her career in Washington, D.C., as a prosecutor, where she handled a wide range of criminal matters. Nada also spent several years representing District of Columbia agencies in employment and labor matters, which often involved misconduct hearings, discrimination cases, and workers compensation. When she relocated to Georgia, she served with the Forsyth County Solicitor’s Office handling criminal misdemeanors, and the Cherokee County District Attorney’s Office, where she managed Accountability Courts and the Pre-Trial Diversion Program. These roles strengthened her skills in case evaluation, evidentiary analysis, courtroom advocacy, and strategic resolution of complex matters.
In 2022, Nada transitioned to civil litigation, concentrating on premises liability cases frequently involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death claims. Her work in negligent security litigation draws directly on her criminal law background, allowing her to analyze foreseeability, liability exposure, and causation issues with a distinctive and practical perspective.
Nada is admitted to practice before all Georgia State Courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the Georgia Court of Appeals; and admitted to practice in Virginia and Washington, D.C. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Clemson University and her Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. She also holds a Paralegal Certificate from the Georgetown University Paralegal Program.
Outside the office, Nada enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, spending many nights and weekends on the soccer fields watching her daughters’ play. She also enjoys creating abstract art, spending time outdoors on scenic walks, and exploring nature through relaxed hikes.
