Michael L. Miller has been practicing law for over 27 years with a focus on commercial transportation, premises liability, and general tort litigation. Mike has litigated cases all over Georgia (state and federal courts), as well as in Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama. He also serves in an advisory capacity for compliance and best practices for several large retailers and trucking companies.
Mike is a Past Chairman of the American Bar Association’s Commercial Transportation Litigation Committee (CLTC), earning an Award of Excellence during his term as Chair. He is a former Board Member of the American Bar Association’s Publishing Committee, and is active in the ABA, TIDA, DRI, and the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association. Mike has been published in The Brief, the ABA Journal, and several CLTC newsletters. He is a frequent speaker at continuing education and industry conferences. He has received an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale Hubbell for his high ethical standards and professionalism.
Mike received his Juris Doctor degree in 1994 from the University of Georgia School of Law, and graduated from the University of Alabama in 1990 as a Presidential Scholar, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
