Lauren is an associate in Drew Eckl & Farnham’s St. Simons Island office. She primarily focuses her practice on General Liability and Civil Litigation, including catastrophic injury and negligent security. She also practices in the areas of products liability, negligent construction, and trucking litigation on behalf of many businesses, national retailers, and insurance carriers. Lauren litigates matters in state and federal courts throughout Georgia.
Lauren received her Bachelor of Science in Consumer Economics from the University of Georgia. She then attended Mercer University’s School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor. During her time in law school, Lauren was a member of the William Augustus Bootle Inn of Court, Phi Delta Phi Honor Fraternity. She was a Mercer-Oxford Human Rights Scholar and received a CALI Award for the Highest Grade in National Security and Counterterrorism.
Prior to law school, Lauren worked in the state and federal legislature in Atlanta and on Capitol Hill for Congressman Tom Graves, handling issues related to Georgia’s regulated industries and utilities, and the modernization of Congress.
Lauren is originally from Cedartown, Georgia. She lives on Saint Simons Island and enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and watching SEC football. Go Dawgs!
