John began his legal career after nearly a decade as a health care professional. John’s practice is primarily focused on the defense of various classes of medical litigation, including the defense of individual medical professionals, acute care hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, and long term care facilities in medical malpractice, regulatory, and administrative matters.
Practicing in both Georgia and Florida, John represents clients in state and federal courts, before arbitration panels and state licensing agencies, and has been engaged to conduct internal investigations for acute care and long term care facilities. John has litigated class action claims and has represented private entities and governmental agencies in the defense of federal civil rights claims pertaining to the delivery of health care services. John has been requested to provide educational seminars to clients and prepare especially challenging witnesses based on his ability to “speak the language” of health care providers.
John also has extensive experience defending product manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers in products liability claims involving pharmaceuticals, mineral supplements, various medical devices, and automotive products. John’s products liability experience includes serving on a national coordinating discovery team and medical expert witness team for clients with dozens of high profile cases pending across the country.
