For more than four decades, George Duncan has represented individuals and businesses, including Fortune 100 Companies and major national and international insurers, in tort litigation. He has tried more than 100 cases to verdict and has been recognized by his peers as a Georgia Super Lawyer for 15 consecutive years. George’s
practice focuses on premises liability, transportation and products liability litigation.
George is past president of the Georgia Defense Lawyers’ Association, Georgia Representative to the DRI and a member of the DRI committee on ethics and professionalism. For 20 years, George was an adjunct professor of Law at Georgia State University College of Law, teaching trial practice and advocacy. George has been a member and chair of the Georgia Defense Lawyers’ Trial and Mediation Academy where he has helped train some of Georgia’s leading trial attorneys. He has been a frequent lecturer for various organizations, including the Georgia Institute of Continuing Legal Education, The Atlanta Claims Association and the Georgia Defense Lawyers’ Association on topics including punitive damage claims, jury selection and insurance coverage issues.
George focuses on alternative dispute resolution, is a trained and registered mediator and has resolved hundreds of cases both as a mediator and as an advocate.
