Ingrid Nuss has been practicing law for more than 16 years, with nine of those years focused primarily on Workers' Compensation law. She has the unique experience of representing both Employer/Insurers and Claimants, giving her a particular perspective on both the process, and the underlying goals of both parties. She is a licensed Mediator and devotes a portion of her practice to mediating Georgia Workers' Compensation claims. Before practicing Workers' Compensation, Ms. Nuss focused her practice on liability insurance defense and admiralty law. Ms. Nuss currently focuses her practice on the defense of Workers' Compensation claims, representing a variety of Employer/Insurers including hospitals and health care facilities, school districts, trucking and transportation companies and manufacturers. She has gained extensive knowledge and judgment in taking and defending Claimant, witness and expert depositions and has successfully tried numerous cases before the State Board. She has written a number of articles on various Workers' Compensation law topics and presented at several seminars.
