Monique Clark is an associate in the Atlanta office and focuses her practice on litigation representing Fortune 100 Companies, employers, major insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. Monique counsels her clients on complex issues surrounding employment-related compliance, insurance defense litigation, and workers’ compensation claims. Additionally, she has taken a number of depositions and has experience in settlement negotiations and mediations.
Before joining Drew, Eckl & Farnham, LLP, Monique worked as a corporate counsel extern for a Fortune 100 beverage company and a fast-growing restaurant franchisor. She also worked as a summer associate with a large labor & employment firm in Atlanta and as a law clerk for the Honorable Gregory A. Adams and the Honorable Kimberly M. Esmond Adams.
Monique earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where she was a Merit Scholar. While at Emory Law, Monique served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Graduate Student Government Association, Historian of the Black Law Student Association, a member of the Emory Law Moot Court Society, a member of the Black Law Students Association Mock Trial Team, and a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Scholar (LCLD). She was recognized as a Top Oralist of her law school class. Prior to graduating law school, she studied abroad in South Africa. Monique graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. from Saint Augustine’s University, where she was a Presidential Scholar.
Monique is very active in her community. She volunteers with organizations such as Fertile Grounds, Atlanta Community Food Bank, and the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation’s Saturday Lawyer Program.
