Kathy Stewart focuses her practice on representing insurance companies and employers in workers compensation claims. Kathy assists her clients in navigating the workers' compensation system and zealously represents her clients at every stage of the workers' compensation process.
Kathy began her legal pursuits in-house practicing corporate and transactional law where she represented companies in a wide variety of legal matters. Immediately prior to joining Drew Eckl & Farham, Kathy practiced workers compensation law for 3 years in North Carolina and gained vital knowledge from both the claimant and defense side.
Kathy is from the Washington D.C. area and is actively involved in her hometown community. Kathy frequently goes back to her hometown to volunteer and speak to inner city high school students about life post high school. Kathy also initiated a college book scholarship for graduating high school students.
