Kait Hayden attended Georgia State University’s College of Law, and was a member of the Public Interest Law Association. While there she dedicated much of her time working in the Georgia Capital Defender’s office, as well working as a Research Assistant challenging Georgia’s Standard of Proof for Intellectual Disability in death penalty cases. Before joining Drew, Eckl, and Farnham, Kait previously practiced Worker’s Compensation, representing injured employees. Kait is also a registered Neutral in Georgia, and is certified to mediate general civil claims.
Kait attended the University of Georgia as an undergraduate, majoring in English Composition and Rhetoric with a concentration in Interdisciplinary Writing. She focused her research on graphic literature and comic books. During her time at UGA she studied abroad at Oxford University. She was also coxswain on the University’s Rowing team, and was a silver medalist at ACRA Nationals in 2011, and competed in the Head of the Charles regatta.
