Eric Retter focuses his practice on commercial litigation, including insurance subrogation, commercial collections, and construction litigation. Eric has experience in all aspects of the litigation process, including taking and defending depositions, motions practice, and representing clients in motions hearings and bench trials.
Prior to joining the firm, Eric was a law clerk to Chief Judge Federico A. Moreno in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the Staff Attorney for Judge Aaron B. Mason in Clayton County State Court.
Eric earned his J.D. from the Emory University School of Law, where he was the Executive Managing Editor of the Emory International Law Review, and a recipient of the Pro Bono Publico Medal and the Dean’s Award in Free Speech/Hate Speech Writing Seminar. He also received his M.B.A. with focuses in corporate finance, global management, and marketing from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. While in law school, Eric interned for the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Enforcement Division.
