Earl King joined Drew Eckl & Farnham in 2017 as an associate in the Atlanta office. Capitalizing on his extensive business management background, Earl joined Drew Eckl & Farnham’s Corporate and Transactional Practice Group (DEF Corp) to focus on representing for-profit and non-profit organizations.  

Earl's professional experience managing a private physicians' practice prior to his legal career allows him to bring unique and valuable perspective to a range of corporate client issues from corporate governance to government compliance. Representing clients in business matters and as outside general counsel, Earl routinely provides advice and counsel to CEOs, business managers, and human resource officers of start-up companies, closely-held local businesses, and mid-market national and multi-national companies. 

As an extension of his corporate practice, Earl has spear-headed DEF Corp’s Legal Accelerator program. The Legal Accelerator is designed to provide high level legal services to companies with less than $200,000 in annual revenue and less than $200,000 in investment capital raised at discounted rates. Clients that have been accepted into the Legal Accelerator include IOS and Android application developers, micro-lenders, technology companies offering hardware and software solutions, television and music production companies, and clothing designers.

Earl prides himself on hard work, dedication, and a commitment to excellence. While in law school Earl served as the Symposium Editor, of the NCCU School of Law Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Law Review. He coordinated the journal's 10th Annual Law Review Symposium which highlighted, "Biomedical Research Involving Healthy Volunteers", and "Ethical Issues Involving Personalized Medical Approaches". Earl also served as President of the Business Law Society exposing minority legal professionals to corporate law opportunities.
