Amanda L. Myers primarily defends employers and insurance companies in workers' compensation claims. Amanda actively assists clients for the best possible resolution of cases, from the initial investigation of the claim throughout the litigation process.

Prior to joining Drew Eckl & Farnham, Amanda practiced workers' compensation defense for 6 years in Mississippi, where she gained invaluable experience for the defense of Employers and Insurers. Amanda has also presented seminars on workers’ compensation law to various companies and insurers throughout the southeast for the previous six years. Amanda stays abreast of recent developments in legislation in order to position her clients for the best possible defense. Amanda was honored to serve as a Panelist for the Jackson Women in Leadership Symposium held in Jackson, Mississippi in March 2017.

While in law school, Amanda received a scholarship through the Mississippi Workers' Compensation Educational Association. She also received the American Jurisprudence Award in both Workers' Compensation and Appellate Advocacy. While serving on the Moot Court Board, Amanda was a semi-finalist in the 2011 E. Earle Zehmer Workers' Compensation Moot Court Competition and won 1st place for Best Written Brief.

In addition to her work as an attorney, Amanda is active in her local community as an Advocate Volunteer for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, as both her Father and Grandfather passed away from pancreatic cancer at young ages. Amanda travels to Washington, D.C. every year to speak with members of Congress about funding for pancreatic cancer research and to advocate for awareness for the disease.
