General Liability Associate

We are growing fast and have multiple positions available for experienced associates to join our General Liability practice in our downtown Atlanta office. In this role, your caseload will primarily involve matters focused on products liability, consumer litigation, construction, trucking and transportation liability, and personal/bodily Injury liability.

You must have:

• Demonstrated experience with depositions, court appearances, prepared and argued motions
• J.D. from an ABA-Approved Law School
• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia
• 1+ years of experience at a defense law firm

Candidates should have:

• Strong writing and speaking skills
• Proven ability to manage complex cases
• Outstanding analytical skills
• Ability to conduct depositions and manage discovery
• Passion for litigation

The preference for this position is that the attorney hired for this position spends 4+ days in the office each week. Opportunities to work remotely may arise once the attorney gains a basic understanding of the firm systems and team processes.

Salary will be determined based on years of experience, but all Associate Attorneys at DEF could receive quarterly and annual bonuses based on billable hours.
