Lexie Carmon is a civil litigator in Drew Eckl & Farnham’s Atlanta office, where she focuses her practice on general liability and personal injury defense.
Lexie earned her Juris Doctor with a Transactional Law Certificate from Emory University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Hampton University. As part of Emory’s Transactional Law Program, she completed coursework in contract drafting, deal skills, and negotiations, which strengthened her ability to analyze and resolve complex liability disputes.
During law school, Lexie gained practical experience working in-house as a Corporate and Legal intern for the National Football League, where she addressed intellectual property infringement involving NFL marks and merchandise, reviewed, drafted, and analyzed preseason game contracts, and evaluated contracts of A-list musicians to assess the NFL’s reuse rights of Super Bowl halftime performance footage. Lexie also completed several externships, including one with United Parcel Service, where she assisted with employment and labor matters. At Emory, Lexie served as President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society and was an active member of the Black Law Students Association.
In her free time, Lexie enjoys learning new languages, traveling, listening to audiobooks, and exploring Atlanta’s food scene.
