John P. “Jack” Reale is a partner in the Atlanta law firm of Drew Eckl & Farnham, LLP and has an AV Preeminent rating according to Martindale Hubbell. He was one of the firm’s original founding partners in 1983 and has served as co-managing partner and Chairman of the firm since 1996. He is a 1971 graduate of Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut and received his Juris Doctor degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1976. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court and the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Reale focuses his practice in civil tort litigation as well as workers’ compensation and represents individuals, corporations and insurance companies in state and federal courts. This includes an emphasis on general tort and insurance litigation, general liability, and professional athlete representation as attorney/agent and workers’ compensation. e is a member of the American Bar Association, Georgia Bar Association, Atlanta Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Torts and Insurance Practice Section of the ABA, Sports Lawyers Association and Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia. ince 1990, he has been the Administrator of the Georgia Self-Insurers Guaranty Trust Fund. In this position, he has worked closely with members of the legislature and the State Board of Workers’ Compensation in writing and helping to pass legislation regarding self-insurance in Georgia for workers’ compensation benefits. He is a frequent lecturer on workers’ compensation topics and has spoken at various state and national seminars. He has also spoken at various institutions regarding athlete agent representation.
