Gary D. Beelen - Partner

Gary D. Beelen earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in centrally planned economies (Government) from the College of William & Mary in 1984. From 1985-1995, Mr. Beelen developed extensive knowledge of the rapidly growing Atlanta residential real estate market as a mortgage loan consultant, managing offices for Norwest Mortgage (n/k/a Wells Fargo) and Shearson Lehman American Express. Mr. Beelen earned his J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law in 1998, and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1998, and the Georgia Bar in 1999. Mr. Beelen practiced transactional residential real estate law in Georgia from 1999 – 2003, transitioning to real estate litigation in 2004. Mr. Beelen’s current “bricks, dirt and mortar” practice includes disputes related to contracts, construction defects, materialmens liens, landlord tenant relations, mortgages, property title issues and homeowner associations, as well as land use and zoning. Mr. Beelen is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the State Bar of Ohio, Georgia Real Property Section, American Bar Association, Gwinnett Bar Association and the American Association for Justice (f/k/a the American Trial lawyers Association).
