David Scott Thompson is an associate in the Atlanta office of Drew, Eckl & Farnham, LLP. He graduated with distinction in 2001 from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce (with concentrations in marketing and management), and received his J.D. from the Emory University School of Law in 2004. After law school, Mr. Thompson worked for over four years at a boutique downtown Atlanta firm doing employment and general defense work, including workers’ compensation. He joined Drew, Eckl & Farnham in March 2009. He now focuses his practice in the area of workers’ compensation, representing employers, insurers and self-insureds.
Mr. Thompson lives in northwest Atlanta with his wife, Lauren, daughter, Ginna and dog Barkley. He is a past President of the UVaClub of Atlanta and the Landscape Chair of the Adams Crossing Homeowners’ Association.
