Daniel C. Kniffen, a Partner in the firm Drew Eckl & Farnham, LLP, represents employers and insurers in the defense of employment-related cases, ranging from discrimination charges to workers' compensation claims. Mr. Kniffen is a Magna Cum Laude graduate, and received his Juris Doctor degree, Cum Laude, from Mercer University. He is a past Chair of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Defense Research Institute and the Atlanta Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Section. He is currently a Vice-Chair of the Employer's Liability and Workers' Compensation Committee for the American Bar Association's Torts and Insurance Practice Section. Mr. Kniffen is a frequent speaker and author in the areas of workers' compensation and disability discrimination and workers' compensation, having written and lectured on these topics for both regional and national publications and audiences. Mr. Kniffen has represented employers and their insurers in employment-related cases before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, United States District Courts and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Kniffen has also been inducted into the College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers, a national organization consisting of attorneys who have made a sustained contribution in the field of Workers' Compensation Law.
